A great tie can complete any guy’s formal looks — but it’s not always so easy to find a tie that really fits your frame. Mountain and Sackett is setting out to change that, offering a wide range of tie lengths, widths, and materials sure to suit any man’s wardrobe.

About Mountain and Sackett
Established back in 1957, Mountain and Sackett has operated as a neckwear manufacturer for the entire lifespan of the company. From their New York location, they set out to make ties that could rival the sophistication of European producers while being entirely handmade in America.
Now in the internet era, their ties are available at even lower prices thanks to a direct to consumer sales model.
What I Like
Lots of companies make ties, and you can find a decent tie at any department store. But if you’re looking for a tie that fits as good as it looks, you should check out Mountain and Sackett.
Their variable lengths for each tie mean that you can custom tailor the fit of your tie to your build. For a slim guy like me that stands about 5’6” in shoes, their shorter and narrower ties look much more proportional to my body. And if you’re a bigger guy, a longer and wider tie will get you looking your best.
Aside from that, the quality of materials that Mountain and Sackett use are top notch. Summer ties come in a linen cotton material that keeps them slightly off of you in hot weather, and their fall and winter ties are made with a super soft cashmere.
Wrap that all up in classy packaging and pair it with great customer service, and it’s easy to see why I love this brand.
What I Don’t Like
Honestly, there isn’t much I dislike about Mountain and Sackett. Some of their higher-end ties might be more expensive than you’re used to, but the quality of the materials and craftsmanship is really there.
So yeah, as long as you’re looking to invest in a tie to keep for a long time, they’re one of the best choices you can make.
