In this Liingo review, I’ll share my thoughts on the popular eyewear company to help you determine if you should order glasses from them.
Shopping for glasses in person is hard enough. But online? It can be an absolute mess to try out enough different styles to find the one that really suits you best.
Enter Liingo Eyewear: A company that is doing its best to change the online shopping experience for glass for the better, with tools like a surprisingly accurate virtual “try it on” to help you narrow down your choices.
I took a pair of Liingo’s sunglasses for a spin, making notes about the entire selection and ordering process along the way. And in this Liingo Eyewear review, I’ll be sharing my honest opinions about what the company does great, and if there’s anything they could improve on in the future.

Now, I’ll share some more in-depth details.
About Liingo Eyewear
Liingo has built their entire company around a short and succinct mission statement:
You should love everything about your glasses.
Sounds simple enough, right? But as anyone who’s tried to buy a new pair of sunglasses or eyeglasses knows, it’s not that easy.
Finding the Goldilocks combination of glasses that fit your face well, look good with a variety of outfits, and are durable enough to hold up to everyday wear and tear is a tall order.
So Liingo put a focus on keeping everything that’s good about buying glasses — exploring new styles, trying on your favorites, being able to see — and dropped the high price tags and restrictive style options.
As a result, they give you a ton of choices with the goal of making sure that every single aspect of your glasses is exactly what you want.
Then, they pair this with options for both in-home and virtual try-ons, and a best in class shipping and return policy that makes it easy to keep trying glasses until you find your perfect fit.
What I Like
I know of no other glasses-buying experience that gives you as many customization options as Liingo. Nor do I know of any other service that makes it so easy to try on multiple pairs, all while giving you precise style filters to narrow down your search.
One of the coolest things for me about the whole process was the ability to try glasses on virtually. Upload a selfie, and you can get a real-time approximation of what each pair of glasses would look like on you.
This took me from being overwhelmed with the variety of choices, to getting quick visual confirmation of what works (and what doesn’t).
In short: Liingo offers the most customizable glasses shopping experience I’ve seen, bar none. Search by size, glasses shape, face shape, colors, and materials, and you’ll be able to narrow down their huge selection of options to a single, perfect pair.
What I Don’t Like
Overall, I like to think that I’m a simple man. I drink black coffee, have a regular diet, and keep my home and wardrobe as minimal as possible. So when I first saw the range of options offered by Liingo, I was worried that it might prove to be more complicated than I’d like.
In some regards, this is true. If you don’t make quick use of their filters, the selection of glasses and sunglasses offered by Liingo is huge, and hard to differentiate at a quick glance.
But once I started narrowing down my options with their filters and virtual try-on, it became clear that their choices are targeted.
They don’t have a huge selection just to brag about how many types of glasses they offer — they have that many glasses because that’s how many they need to satisfy everybody’s desires.
Final Verdict
I’m happy to recommend Liingo to any glasses-wearing friend, with the caveat that they’ll have to put a fair bit of work into finding the exact right glasses for them. But given the affordable pricing and excellent customer service Liingo offers, it’s entirely worth choosing them for your next pair of glasses.
